We had been admiring this resort during previous trips to Noosa and promised ourselves that one day we would stay there. Just a few days later the shops in the middle were in danger of being engulfed by the major fire on Hastings seafront on 25th May 2014, which gutted a terrace of 5 old houses and threatened to spread across the narrow alleyway .
